LHS Health Education Statement

鈥淚n Health Education, students develop an understanding of factors that influence personal and societal well-being, build resilience, and develop capabilities for enhancing their own wellbeing and supporting others. Constructivist (building knowledge) approaches are used to engage students in authentic and meaningful learning contexts. Students鈥� needs are taken into account and lessons cater for diverse learning styles and capabilities. Students are encouraged to achieve to their potential and engage in critical thinking processes鈥�.
